Gesture Page Flipping software uses Microsoft Kinect to track hand movement and control page flipping process. It enables large projections or public installations of digital publications where people can just approach the installation and use their hand movement to explore a digital book.
Ideally this installation can be used for promotion on events or in public spaces. Used in shop windows it will enable visitors to explore digital catalogues of products even they are not entering the store.
Hand gestures are tracked in real time enabling visitor to control the position of the page they are flipping. This gives them an impression that they are filliping a real paper page.
