Digital Mind, in collaboration with VR-All-Art, has created a unique virtual reality experience showcasing the artifacts from the Trebeniste archaeological site, marking the 100-year anniversary of its discovery. Working with the National Museum of Serbia, the team used the Artec Leo 3 scanner to capture high-resolution 3D models of various artifacts, including a golden mask, rhyton (type of horn), chalice, jewelry pieces, sandals, and ornaments.

Trebeniste, an ancient site situated near Lake Ohrid, was accidentally discovered during the final days of WW1. Excavations from 1930 to 1972 uncovered fifty-eight tombs, some of which belonged to high-ranking individuals. Among the artifacts found were gold-plated sandals adorned with mythological beings and stunning golden masks, demonstrating the exceptional craftsmanship of the civilization that once thrived in the area.

After processing, the 3D models were incorporated into a virtual exhibition space, enabling viewers to admire the intricate details of the artifacts through a web browser or VR headset. This immersive experience, powered by VR-All-Art, brings the rich history of Trebeniste to life for audiences worldwide.
